School district resources

Main Line public school districts

In Pennsylvania, each public school district is made up of whole municipalities. Main Line mailing addresses often cross those lines, so the district is decided by the township or borough of the specific property, not the town name.

How to confirm the district for an address

  1. Find the parcel on the county property records site to confirm its municipality.
  2. Check the municipality against the district list above.
  3. Ask the district's enrollment office to confirm the assigned schools, in writing if it matters to your purchase.

Private and independent schools

Independent and parochial schools enroll by application, not by address, so they are separate from public district boundaries. The Pennsylvania Department of Education's EdNA directory (opens in a new tab) lists schools by location.

We do not rate or rank schools or districts, and we show every available home to every client. School information is one of many factors in a decision and is yours to weigh. School data is published by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
